24th Mentorship – Developing potential on every journey of Be Better

After a scorching summer, September comes with the bustling start of a new school year. Together with the drumbeat, the Foundation continued our journey and arrived at the first destination – the venue of Song Phu Commune (Tam Binh District, Vinh Long Province). On the morning of 13 September, over 300 seats were soon occupied by students in 11th and 12th grades and teachers of Song Phu High School.

After a hesitation at the beginning of the program, the students became more confident to raise their hands. Their voices and stories were increasingly certain, mirroring the way they stepped out of their “cocoons”.

Through their eyes and shared words, we can see a glimmer of hope as if they have just grasped something important in their lives. At that moment, we realized that youngsters never ignore studying or personal growth. It is our approach—how we choose to accompany and support them, share real-life stories, and impart knowledge and belief—that determines whether they find the courage to open up, receive, and grow from these lessons.

Our journey has never been limited to a single talk or a few pieces of advice. We wish to sow a belief in their hearts: that their youth deserves to be cherished and supported. The words shared that day may not be big enough to immediately turn around their entire lives, but perhaps one day, when they face hardship or challenge, a memory from this morning will return as a small, illuminating spark, reminding them to trust that their future remains wide open.

We sincerely thank the Board of Management and teachers of Song Phu High School for their warm welcome and wholehearted support that made this gathering so complete and meaningful. Thank you to 300 students for your presence and listening that created a warm morning. We believe that morning will linger in your memories for a very long time and in the hearts of our members as a motivation to continue the journey of spreading more love and values.
