On 5th May 2024, Be Better successfully organized a charity trip to Vinh Xuan High School in Tra On District, Vinh Long Province.
As usual, the trip featured Be Better’s key programs: the Mentorship program, the “The Elite” competition, and scholarships for orphaned students in difficult circumstances. Each trip always brings a new experience and lesson for us. Let’s take a look back at the highlights of this charity trip:
- Summary of Awards for the “The Elite” Competition.
This time, Be Better awarded a total of 10 prizes for the preliminary round, 5 first prizes, 5 second prizes, and 1 encouragement prize.
The total value of the prizes was 9,800,000 VND.
- Scholarships for Orphaned Students in Difficult Circumstances.
During the event, Be Better also awarded 2 scholarships to 2 students from Vinh Xuan High School who are both orphaned and in difficult situations.
Each scholarship was worth 2,000,000 VND.
- Although the “Changing the Future” scholarship was not part of this trip, the Mentorship program received a warm reception from the students at Vinh Xuan High School. At the end of the program, Be Better received over 130 feedback responses from students (out of approximately 350 participants), with around 98% of students rating the program between 8-9 points (on a scale of 10).
Beyond the happiness we felt, we are proud to read the messages from the students. These are not merely opinions or views on the Mentorship program; they are heartfelt messages and love from students who value Be Better’s program.
These comments and encouraging words from the students would be the greatest motivation for Be Better to improve and enhance our charitable journey, striving to create a much more valuable Mentorship program with a deeper impact across the community.
