We thought it would be just another ordinary morning…
Yet on 27 April, the school hall of My Thuan High School told a remarkably different story.
Over 250 of our 11th and 12th-grade students kept surprising us again and again in ways we never expected.
Voices that echoed throughout the school hall, their confident answers, and their deeply curious and truly unique connection took us by surprise.
This was the very first Mentorship Program held in the school hall – a cozy space adorned with Vietnamese flags, lovingly prepared by the teachers. We can feel the heartfelt care in even small details. We called it a “unique energy” that My Thuan gifted us.
The students showed excellence beyond academics. They listened attentively, shared openly, stood by their beliefs, and accepted every challenge the Foundation brought forth. We were really impressed by the words of Nguyen Hoang Phi Long, the student: “The future isn’t handed out like a gift. It’s something we sculpt for ourselves.”
As for him, Mentorship was not a normal extracurricular session, but a transformative starting point.
We didn’t need fancy words. It was just the way their eyes flickered between uncertainty and sudden clarity, how they laughed, breaking through the pressure of tough questions and their presence even when it was time to go that strengthened our belief that:
Something truly touched their hearts.
And that, above all, is the most precious gift of a Mentorship Program.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to the school board, dedicated teachers, and students of My Thuan High School for such a meaningful and eventful morning.
We hope that someday in the future, we will meet again – not in a school hall, but on a greater journey: a journey of living kindly, succeeding, and spreading genuine love.
