On the morning of 14 September, still at the venue of Song Phu Commune (Tam Binh District, Vinh Long Province), almost 200 students from grade 11 and 12 and teachers of Long Phu High School created a space filled with energy and youthful enthusiasm. Their innocent smiles and joyful songs lit up the room—like a heartfelt welcome they offered to the Mentorship program.
This meeting means more than an act of charity to Be Better. On this occasion, we had a precious moment to sit down and truly see the students: their eyes, their smiles, and the dreams quietly growing within them. We believe that every child carries within them limitless potential. Our mission is not to draw their life’s path for them—but to offer belief, opportunity, and encouragement, so they themselves can take the pen and begin to sketch their very own “map.”
Just like the message in The Miracles of the Namiya General Store:
“If your map is a blank page… you can draw your own path. It’s all in your hands. Everything is open, and the possibilities are endless. This is a great thing.
All we hope for is to walk beside them, to share a piece of our heart, and to pass on just enough courage so that they dare to dream and sketch their vision, and have the strength to bring those first lines to life. Once they have enough faith to begin, step by step, they’ll make their life more beautiful and more complete in the unique way they’ve chosen.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the President and teachers of Long Phu High School who warmly welcomed us and gave us the opportunity to meet and share with the students. It was your dedication and companionship that made this meeting warm and meaningful. Thank you to the nearly 200 students who were present, who listened, shared, and left unforgettable emotions in our hearts. We hope that one day in the future, when we meet again, you will have grown stronger and more resilient on the path you’ve chosen. May the path ahead, though still filled with challenges, be met with courage and belief. May you keep daring to dream, keep walking forward and become just a little better than yesterday, every single day.
