The Be Better Foundation mainly supports high school and university students. These young people come from particularly disadvantaged backgrounds though they may not have certificates of poverty. Without our support, they would be forced to drop out, stop studying, or be unable to pursue higher education after high school graduation.
These young individuals have a lot in common: they possess a drive to grow, a will to transform their lives; they carry in them the kindness and spirit of giving that one day will enrich our society. They might not achieve excellent academic results but can demonstrate their passion for learning and the capacity to absorb knowledge and strive continuously.
Be Better understands that a lack of knowledge is the primary reason why multiple generations within a family remain trapped in poverty. Uneducated parents cannot guide their children towards a different future. And that cruel cycle keeps repeating itself, generation after generation…
Each long-term “Change the Future” scholarship from Be Better not only provides financial support but also a gateway to a brighter world. Students are given the opportunity to step into a wider world through knowledge. From there, they can write a different story for their own future and the future of their children.
For Be Better, education is not only knowledge but also light that illuminates the path, helping each individual to be better every day. We believe that by imparting knowledge and opportunity through the LONG-TERM “CHANGE THE FUTURE” SCHOLARSHIP and the MENTORSHIP PROGRAM, we are breaking the vicious cycle of poverty, thereby building a strong and loving young Vietnamese generation.
