“Education is the only path to escape poverty.” – Ha Tan Dat, Change the Future Scholar of Be Better, wrote in his handwritten scholarship application letter to our foundation.
After Vietnam’s National Day holiday, students return to classes, marking the start of a new academic year. For those from disadvantaged families, back-to-class season carries more than books – it carries a dream: the dream of escaping poverty through education.
In his letter, Dat wrote:
“Education is the only path to escape the poverty”
