Saturday, 09 August 2025 – The first day of the reunion for the “Be Better Family.”
Amidst the fresh air of a weekend morning, Be Better reunited with our “little siblings” – the students who have grown through the “Change the Future” journey. They came from different places: some from Kon Tum and some had to travel very early to make it in time for the program. Only the journey to gather made the meeting more complete and cherished than ever.
It has been almost three years since the establishment of our “Change the Future” scholarship. The seeds planted back then have now grown, flourished and became stronger. This “Be Better Family” reunion officially started with a special Mentorship program titled “Success and Virtue”. We aim to help students gain a deeper understanding of the values of the four pillars: Body, Mind, Wisdom and Virtue. Additionally, we hope students will learn how to live a responsible life, and effectively manage and save money.
Furthermore, it was an occasion that the Be Better family truly connected as we listened and shared to better understand other members. Many different stories were shared, involving studies, work, family concerns, and the hardships they were facing. Through those stories, we saw the seeds breaking through the soil to sprout. Faces that had been shy and hesitant were confidently sharing their inspirational stories to everyone. In that moment, we realized the power of an opportunity as our trust in them came to fruition. Be Better is so proud to accompany them on that journey.
We saw them carefully holding pens and writing letters to themselves, to talk about what they had learned, what they had accomplished, and what was still unfinished on their journey. Whether those letters were submitted, we know that what is truly important has been etched into their hearts.
Be Better does not expect the students to be the best or to achieve great things. We only hope that they will always be a better version of themselves, who live the life of their dreams, know how to share and be kind to surroundings.
“Success” can be measured by achievements, but “Virtue” is the measure of a lifetime. Seeing those seeds sprouting daily, Be Better knows that we chose the right journey. Be Better is proud to be a companion to the students, not just as a scholarship fund, but also as a family that is always behind them, always believing in and watching over every step they take.
Be Better would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Ms. Trang and other teachers, who opened their hearts and allowed Be Better to host the program at the school. She helped create a warm and loving space so that the Be Better family could enjoy this journey to the fullest and most happily.
We look forward to seeing the Be Better family in the upcoming journeys—where we will continue to write the story of faith, resilience, and love.
