There are journeys that are not measured by distance, but by what remains in each person’s heart. The recent reunion of the “Be Better Family” was one such journey, when every step, every smile, and every tear added a piece to the puzzle of love and trust.
We reunited with our “little siblings”—the small seeds that have now begun to sprout. We listened to their stories of struggles, worries, hopes, and dreams. In every word shared, we saw signs of maturity, resilience, and the light of a future full of promise.
The most precious thing is not what we did together, but the fact that we lived those two days to the fullest. There was gratitude to remind us of our roots. There was unity to learn how to walk together. And above all, there was love to connect and uplift one another.
Though the “reunion” journey has come to an end, we believe that the seeds planted will continue to grow in the hearts of the students—the seeds of knowledge, gratitude, determination, and compassion. One day, when those seeds bloom, we will look back and see that every effort, every belief, and every act of love we sowed today was worth it. That is the very strength that will carry Be Better further and more sustainably, as we continue writing the story of a journey to “change the future.”
