On October 12-13, 2024, the Be Better Foundation successfully organized a charity trip to the following schools: Song Phu High School in Tam Binh District, Vinh Long Province, and Hieu Nhon High School and Hieu Phung Secondary-High School in Vung Liem District, Vinh Long Province.
As usual, the trip featured key programs from Be Better, including the Mentorship program, the “Elite” competition, and scholarship awards for orphaned students in difficult circumstances.

1. Mentorship Program
Schedule:
– On the afternoon of October 12, 2024, Be Better organized a Mentorship session at Hieu Nhon High School and Hieu Phung Secondary-High School in Vung Liem District, Vinh Long Province.
-On the morning of October 13, 2024, Be Better organized a Mentorship session at Song Phu High School in Song Phu Commune, Tam Binh District, Vinh Long Province.
The program included more than 250 twelfth-grade students from Song Phu High School and over 300 twelfth-grade students from Hieu Nhon High School and Hieu Phung Secondary High School, along with two speakers:
Mr. Tran Van Tinh (Tony Tinh) – Founder of the Be Better Foundation
Mr. Hoang The Trung – Head of Investment at KB Asset Management.
2. Summary of Awards for the “Elite” Competition
On October 12, 2024, at Hieu Nhon High School and Hieu Phung Secondary-High School:
– Total number of questions: 10 warm-up questions, 2 team questions, 2 individual questions, 1 special question, and 1 bonus question.
– Total prizes:
+ Team questions: 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes.
+ Individual questions: 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes.
+ Bonus question: 1 encouragement prize.
+Special question: 1 champion prize and 1 second prize.
Total prize value: 11,100,000 VND.
On October 13, 2024, at Song Phu High School:
– Total number of questions: 10 warm-up questions, 2 team questions, 2 individual questions, 1 special question, and 1 bonus question.
– Total prizes:
+Team questions: 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes.
+Individual questions: 3 first prizes, 3 second prizes.
+Special question: 1 champion prize, 2 second prizes, and 1 encouragement prize.
Total prize value: 11,600,000 VND.
3. Scholarships for Orphaned Students in Difficult Circumstances
On October 12, 2024, at Hieu Nhon High School and Hieu Phung Secondary-High School, the Be Better Foundation awarded 6 scholarships to 6 orphaned students (either fatherless or motherless) from poor or near-poor households. Each scholarship was worth 2,000,000 VND.
Total budget for 6 students: 12,000,000 VND.
On October 13, 2024, at Song Phu High School, the Be Better Foundation awarded 8 scholarships to 8 orphaned students from poor or near-poor households, including:
– Orphaned students (either fatherless or motherless): 16 scholarships worth 2,000,000 VND each.
– Orphaned students (both fatherless and motherless): 3 scholarships worth 3,000,000 VND each.
Total budget for 8 students: 19,000,000 VND.
