Mentorship Programme Report Hieu Nhon Secondary-High School & My Phuoc Secondary-High School 7–8 February 2026

20/02/2026

I. Continuing the New Year Journey of Reaching Out

The Be Better Foundation’s mission of spreading knowledge and inspiration into the new year received two more vibrant chapters: the 34th Mentorship at Hieu Nhon Secondary-High School on 7 February 2026, and the 35th Mentorship at My Phuoc Secondary-High School on 8 February 2026.

Two distinct milestones — a heartfelt return to Hieu Nhon and a first-ever visit to My Phuoc — yet both were woven together by the same new-year aspiration: to join hands in spreading positive values across generations of young students.

II. Walking Alongside, Step by Step

The Mentorship programme opened with cultural performances and warm-up games that gradually transformed the atmosphere into one of energy and genuine connection. That spirit set the perfect stage for the “Person of Knowledge” competition.

At both schools, the competition was structured around 4 teams of 6 members each. Teams tackled real-life situations and presented their ideas with creativity and conviction. Far more than a quiz, “Person of Knowledge” served as a platform where speakers transmitted knowledge, life skills, and hard-won practical insights on three essential themes:

  • Recognising one’s own authentic value amid external expectations and competing influences;
  • Understanding that success carries no universal definition or fixed template — it is the act of living true to one’s own capabilities and core values;
  • Building a foundation of positive thinking and a balanced life grounded in four pillars: Body, Heart, Mind, and Ethics — the essential compass as students step toward adulthood.

The Mentorship journey does not presume to answer the question “Who will I become, and what will I achieve?” for any young person. Instead, it guides each student toward living in alignment with their own values and equipping themselves with the tools they truly need for the road ahead.

III. The Imprint of Generosity

Alongside the exchange of knowledge and inspiration, the February 2026 Mentorship programme continued to embody the Be Better Foundation’s unwavering financial commitment through a series of meaningful actions:

A prize of 1,000,000 VND and a certificate of merit were awarded to: Nguyen Hong Minh Anh — Class 11A1 — My Phuoc Secondary-High School

4. The Echoes That Linger

Mentorship is more than a bridge between the Be Better Foundation, the schools, and their students. It leaves behind a quiet resonance — a sense of something deeply felt — long after the journey ends.

“Through this Mentorship Programme, I gained a broader perspective on life, a deeper understanding of the world and the people around me, and practical knowledge I can truly apply in everyday life.” – Nguyen Hong Minh Anh (Class 11A1, My Phuoc Secondary-High School).

“Success does not come from luck, but from effort. That truth became so much more real to me through this Mentorship Programme. And the greatest thing I learned is to live with purpose — to be of value to society, to others, and to myself — through the stories and lessons the Programme brought to life.” – Nguyen Thi Ngoc Nhu (Class 12C2, My Phuoc Secondary-High School).

“What moved me most was the message of balanced living and holistic growth. Building a future is not merely about choosing the right path — it is about choosing a healthy way of life: honouring yourself, cultivating your mind, and upholding the moral values that matter, because talent and character must always walk hand in hand.” – La Thi Tu Quyen (Class 11A1, My Phuoc Secondary-High School).

With every Mentorship journey that passes, a different chord of emotions is struck — in the hearts of the students and in the spirit of the Be Better team alike. And that resonance is the clearest proof that the values Be Better plants will continue to take root, to blossom, and to grow green in the inner gardens of every young life touched.

5. A Message of Gratitude

The Be Better Foundation extends its deepest gratitude to all speakers and volunteers — those who gave their time and energy quietly and selflessly, becoming the living force that made this Mentorship programme possible and that lifts students toward the futures they deserve. Our heartfelt thanks also go to the Board of Principals of Hieu Nhon Secondary-High School and My Phuoc Secondary-High School for creating the conditions that allowed this programme to unfold in its fullest form — giving wings to the humane values that now echo warmly in the hearts of every student.
