INTRODUCTION
Be Better Foundation continued our mission of spreading knowledge through the 30th and 31st Mentorship programs, held on 13 and 14 December 2025 in Vinh Long Province, concluding the year 2025 with plenty of memorable stops.
On 13 December 2025, the 30th Mentorship program took place at the auditorium of Doan Thi Diem High School, with the participation of 250 students. This marked the first collaboration between Be Better Foundation and Doan Thi Diem High School, opening a new chapter in the journey of connecting with and supporting local students.
Immediately following, the 31st Mentorship program was held at the auditorium of the Can Long District Political Training Center, welcoming 200 students from Nguyen Dang High School. Despite being hosted at two different schools from the former Ben Tre and Tra Vinh provinces, both programs shared the same open, focused, and positively energized atmosphere radiating from the students.
I. OBJECTIVES AND MESSAGE
The December edition of Be Better’s Mentorship program remained steadfast in our core mission to “Share experiences – Knowledge – Future orientation,” while also offering a moment of reflection for students and the Be Better team. We looked back on a year of learning and work, and prepared ourselves mentally and intellectually for the journey ahead.
Through authentic stories and natural, relatable conversations with the speakers, the program created a space for students to explore new ways of thinking and perspectives around these key themes: discovering one’s true value amid external influences and choices; understanding that success is not a universal formula, but rather staying true to one’s abilities and core values; and building a foundation of positive, balanced mindset and life attitude through the four pillars of Body – Mind – Wisdom – Virtue on the path to adulthood.
II. MAIN ACTIVITIES
Both programs began with musical performances and warm-up games, which helped create a welcoming, connected environment and allowed students to feel more confident as they moved into the main Mentorship content.
The centerpiece of the program was the “A Person of Wisdom” competition, implemented in two distinct formats:
- At Doan Thi Diem High School, the competition followed a debate format with four questions (three team-based and one individual). Each team of three students presented their viewpoints and engaged in direct debate with another team.
- At Nguyen Dang High School, the competition took the form of team presentations, with four teams of six students each. The teams analyzed real-life scenarios and delivered their ideas through mind maps.
These two approaches offered diverse and enriching experiences for students, whether at a school hosting the program for the first time or one welcoming our return. Both formats stayed true to the value Mentorship aims to deliver: learning through experience and developing confidence in self-expression.
III. RESULTS AND IMPACTS

The 30th and 31st Mentorship programs not only marked an expansion into new school partnerships but also reminded the Be Better team of the program’s core mission: to create a safe space where students are listened to and to build stronger trust in themselves.
“The most valuable lesson I learned from this program is to believe in myself. Life doesn’t always offer a smooth path. Hardship, failure, and adversity are inevitable. In those moments, self-belief becomes the anchor that keeps us from giving up.” – Phan Thi Yen Nhi (Class 11A11, Doan Thi Diem High School)
“Another important lesson I gained is the value of perseverance and gratitude. Success doesn’t come overnight, and every small step forward deserves recognition. I’ve learned to appreciate those who’ve supported me, even small words of encouragement, because they gave me the strength to keep going.” – Bui Thi My Huynh (Class 12X6, Nguyen Dang High School)
“What I cherish most from the program isn’t just the knowledge or skills, but the shift in mindset and attitude. Mentorship helped me realize that self-development is a long journey—one that requires initiative, effort, and lifelong learning. The lessons I’ve gained will remain a precious part of my future.” – Nguyen Xuan Ngoc (Class 11A10, Doan Thi Diem High School)
Each journey’s end marks a new beginning for the students. Be Better believes that when students approach the right mindset, at the right time, and with the right spirit, they will gradually build their own path—strong, thoughtful, and full of purpose
