33rd Mentorship Session – When the Journey Continues with Trust and Growth

15/01/2026

The 33rd Mentorship session of the Be Better Fund returned to Tan Luoc High School—a familiar school that has accompanied the Fund over many years. This is the second Mentorship program of Be Better in 2026, and also the fourth time the Fund has had the opportunity to meet and work with 11th and 12th-grade students at Tan Luoc High School.

Each time returning to Tan Luoc, the Be Better Fund does not carry the feeling of “starting over,” but rather the continuation of a journey nurtured by trust, understanding, and respect for the students. Mentorship does not place emphasis on answering the question of which major to choose or which career to pursue, but instead goes deeper with the students into a more important question: who they are, what they value, and who they aspire to become in the future.

Through real-life sharing and situations closely connected to the students’ own lives, the program gradually opened up a space for open dialogue. The students were able to speak, to listen, to ask questions, and to view issues from multiple perspectives, not in terms of right or wrong, but in terms of what is suitable for their own values, circumstances, and abilities.

Mentorship has never been a place that provides ready-made answers. Be Better believes that when students truly understand themselves and identify their own “value compass,” they will know how to choose the path they need to take, recognize when to step out of their comfort zones, and take responsibility for their own decisions after leaving school.

After many hours of companionship, Mentorship #33 concluded with a feeling that is both familiar and new—the belief that “good seeds” have once again been planted at Tan Luoc High School. These are the seeds of self-awareness, independent thinking, and the courage to live in alignment with one’s values.

The Be Better Foundation would like to express our sincere gratitude to the School Board and teachers of Tan Luoc High School for your continued trust, partnership, and warm welcome throughout the journey.

Thank you to the 11th and 12th-grade students for being fully present, listening attentively, and sharing with genuine sincerity.

Be Better believes that although the road ahead holds many choices and challenges, the students now carry a strong enough compass to move forward with calmness, clarity, and kindness on their own journey of growth.
