Every Journey of Growth Tells a Story of Resilience and Hope

Each academic year, Be Better Foundation reviews the progress of continuing scholarship recipients alongside selecting new students.

Recently, Be Better completed reviews for 64 of 67 students, through personal development reports and over 64 hours of one–on–one conversations across five weeks.

Beyond academic results, these reviews reveal inspiring stories of perseverance, growth, and hope.

STORIES OF GROWTH

🎓 Cong Hieu – Second–year student | Animal Science | Can Tho University

Despite his family’s financial challenges, Hieu works part-time, earns university scholarships, and manages his expenses responsibly. As a class and department representative, he hopes to foster a more connected learning environment. He continues to strengthen his independence, leadership, and self-awareness while pursuing academic and personal growth.

🎓 Thanh Hang – Third–year student | Business Administration | University of Finance and Marketing (Ho Chi Minh City)

Despite her father’s serious illness and financial pressures, Hang achieved an outstanding GPA of 3.78/4.0 while working two part-time jobs to support her education and family. Recognizing her perseverance and outstanding academic performance, Hang’s scholarship support has changed from partial to full coverage.

🎓 Lan Anh – Fourth–year student | Social Work | Vinh Long University of Technology and Egineering

From a shy student to a more confident and empathetic young woman, Lan Anh has grown remarkably despite losing her father and facing family challenges. As she prepares to graduate, she hopes to apply her knowledge in social work, supporting autistic children, older adults, and the development of school-based social services.

Their journeys remind us that education is not only about academic achievement, but also about building resilience, confidence, and the ability to shape a better future.

SCHOLARSHIP RESULTS | 2026–2027

(As of September 30, 2026)

• 46 full scholarships (100%) – 28 continuing students and 18 new recipients;
• 28 partial scholarships (50%) – continuing students;
• 3 encouragement scholarships (25%);
• 4 students completed their scholarship programs.
