Family situation

A Khanh is a member of the Xo Dang ethnic minority in Ngoc Tem Commune, Kon Plong District, Kon Tum Province, Vietnam – one of the poorest provinces in Vietnam, so the lives of the people here are still very difficult, lacking food and clothing. Among the families with extremely difficult circumstances here, A Khanh’s family is a poor household in the commune.

A Khanh’s family has a total of seven people, and all five of his older siblings are still in school. Living in a particularly difficult area with a meager and unstable income, it is an overwhelming burden for his parents to raise five children at the same time. Aware of his family’s difficult circumstances, A Khanh has always dreamed of using education to change his future, and dreams that one day he will be able to provide for his younger siblings to go to school properly.

With that dream, A Khanh has successfully passed the Automotive Technology program at the Central V College of Transportation. He hopes that with the contributions and assistance of donors, and the support of the Be Better Fund, he will become increasingly determined and motivated to change his own future and the future of his family.
