Kim Nhung’s family consists of four members. She has a younger sister who is currently in elementary school. Her parents work hard as day laborers, earning an average of 100,000 VND (approximately $4.30) per day, which is insufficient to support the education of both daughters. At one point, due to the severe financial strain on her family, Kim Nhung had to drop out of school to help her parents. However, her passion for learning and determination to escape poverty led her back to school. Kim Nhung has occasionally received financial assistance from generous donors. These invaluable contributions have been a great source of motivation for her to continue her studies. Thanks to her perseverance and dedication to education, she has managed to overcome challenges and stay focused on her academic goals.
The first major milestone in Kim Nhung’s journey to “Change Her Future” came when she was accepted as a student at Cuu Long University, majoring in Oriental Studies with a specialization in Chinese. This achievement marks not only a significant turning point but also the beginning of a promising new chapter in her life.

- The Be Better Foundation will conduct an annual review for the renewal of the “Change the Future” scholarship. This review aims to closely monitor and evaluate improvements in students’ personal, financial, and academic conditions. Continued support is contingent upon students showing measurable progress in their studies and personal lives, while also meeting the Foundation’s criteria.
