Family situation

Thuy Quynh’s family, living in near-poverty conditions, lack a home of their own and cannot afford the rent. They rely on her ailing grandmother’s hospitality. Despite her mother’s tireless efforts, they struggle to make ends meet for four family members, including Quynh, her younger sister, her mother, and her grandmother. Her mother not only covers basic needs but also supports Quynh’s studies. As for Quynh’s sister, her cognitive impairment prevents her from attending school. With her grandmother’s health declining, the family’s burden grows. As Quynh prepares for university, her mother faces a significant challenge of covering tuition fees alone.
