Y Hồng là người dân tộc thiểu số thuộc xã Ngọc Tem, huyện Kon Plông, tỉnh Kon Tum - một trong những huyện nghèo của Việt Nam, nên cuộc sống của người dân nơi đây vẫn còn rất khó khăn, thiếu thốn cái ăn cái mặc. Giữa những hoàn cảnh vô cùng thiếu thốn nơi đây, gia đình Y Hồng thuộc diện hộ nghèo của xã.

Thuy Quynh's family, living in near-poverty conditions, lack a home of their own and cannot afford the rent. They rely on her ailing grandmother's hospitality.

Yen Linh has never known the face of her father since she was born. Her mother decided to get remarried and left Linh when she was about 2 years old. Since then, Linh has received the care and upbringing of her grandmother. Her grandmother supports her by making and selling cakes, earning an unstable income. To make ends meet, her grandmother often stayed up late, leading to a decline in her health.

Van Hai’s childhood was a series of unfortunate events. His mother left when he was less than a year old, leaving him to grow up without her love and care. He had hoped to find emotional support in his father, but ever since his father remarried, he no longer cared for or provided for Hai, including his education.

The first tragedy in Cong Huynh's life occurred when his father passed away, leaving a permanent void in the lives of the young Huynh and his mother. His mother worked tirelessly to raise him but, unfortunately, she also left last year to be with his father.

Y Nhi Linh resides with her ethnic minority community in Mang Den town, Kon Plong district - one of the poorest districts in Vietnam - within Kon Tum province . Life in this town is marked by numerous challenges due to the lack of access to necessities.

Y Cao is a member of an ethnic minority group living in Hieu commune, Kon Plong district, one of the poorest districts in Vietnam, within Kon Tum province. Therefore, the lives of the local residents continue to be very challenging, lacking even the basic necessities.

Y Uyen belongs to an ethnic minority group residing in Mang Den town, Kon Plong district, one of the poorest districts in Vietnam and within Kon Tum province.The lives of the local people are still facing numerous challenges and lacking basic necessities.

Due to the impact of working in an industrial zone for many years, Hữu Nhân's father unfortunately passed away from spinal cord and lung diseases. Since his father's death, everything in the family has fallen on the shoulders of his mother, who works as a street vendor in the mornings and sells coconut cakes in the afternoons to earn extra income.
