“My shoes on the field – your shoes to school” is a friendly football tournament for companies and benefactors. It is held by the Be Better Foundation for the purpose of raising funds to buy shoes for poor students in remote areas.

“My shoes on the field – your shoes to school” is a friendly football tournament for companies and benefactors. It is held by the Be Better Foundation for the purpose of raising funds to buy shoes for poor students in remote areas.
To carry on the success of the 1st tournament in July 2022, the 2nd tournament “My shoes on the field – your shoes to school” is being held with the spirit of connecting people, establishing friendships, and calling for donations to support poor students in remote areas.
The information about the tournament:
- Time: From 07:30 to 10:30 on 06 November 2022
- Place: Phan Chu Trinh Soccer Field at 2A Phan Chu Trinh, Ward 12, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh city
- Prize-awarding Gala: at 11am after the final match on the same day
- Format of competition: 5 vs 5 following Vietnam Football Federation’s regulations and the tournament’s own rules.
- Participation fee: VND 16,500,000 (Sixteen million, five hundred thousand Vietnamese dong), in which:
- VND 6,500,000: used to cover the cost of organizing the tournament.
- VND 10,000,000: a donation to charity.

The situation of Vo Thi Yen Linh
The sponsorship for Linh has been completed. After her first year of study, Yến Linh quickly adapted to the dynamic environment in Ho Chi Minh City and managed to earn money to cover her tuition fees. She voluntarily withdrew from her scholarship to give the opportunity to another student who was in greater need.
The situation of Nguyen Thi Mong An Binh
An Binh’s family situation is complex. Her parents divorced when she was six, and then she lived with her mother and grandmother. However, her mother remarried 4 yeas ago and left her town to live with her new family. Since then, her grandmother, who is a scrap collector with a very low amount of money earned per day, has had to struggle to cover their living expenses.
The situation of two siblings Nguyen Ngoc Quynh Nhi
The sponsorship for Nhi has been completed. She graduated in March 2023 and got a job as a receptionist.
The situation of Bui Thi Bich Thuy
Bich Thuy's childhood is an extremely unfortunate story as she is an orphan, having lost both her father and mother. She still has an older brother, but due to their extremely difficult family circumstances, he had to give up his studies and work tirelessly as a construction worker in Dong Nai to support himself and his younger sister.
