At the end of 2021, their mother had an electrical accident while building a new house and passed away. The house is under construction and still unfinished. The mother’s sudden death, leaving six small children alone, was a mental shock to the children, especially Truc (2nd sister studying in 9th grade). She suffered from depression, withdrew herself, and didn’t talk to anyone.
Now only the father tries to earn money to nurture his six young children. Every day he goes to the fields from early morning to late at night, so the six sisters take care of each other to go to school.
Considering Tram’s family’s situation is difficult, even though his father is still able to work and receive additional support from relatives. Be Better Foundation decided to support the children in their studies and career paths, such as tuition support, insurance premiums, learning opportunities, and career orientation. When they enter university, the Foundation will consider funding college tuition.
