Verification process
  • The Foundation receives information through the media or community, or it is “predestined” that the Foundation knows about a person in difficult circumstances.
  • The Executive Board sends volunteers to survey the factual situation and get detailed information and images.
  • The Executive Board holds meetings, gives opinions and votes on the method, donation amount, and mode of donation.
  • The Volunteer Committee implements the sponsorship under the supervision of the Supervisory Board.
  • The Foundation appoints a representative of the Foundation or a volunteer to supervise and monitor the donation process, adjust or cancel the donation, as the case may be.
Funding rules for poor and studious students from Elementary to High school.
  • Children must have good academic performance, be eager to learn, and have passion and desire to go to school.
  • Parents must be supportive and help their children’s education.
  • The sponsorship covers all annual basic school fees and a part of living expenses for the children to be able to go to school comfortably, without worrying too much.
  • The monthly allowance is supervised by the Foundation and by representatives of the school or local authorities. When children leave school or show signs of not wanting to study, or parents abuse the allowance to do other things, the Foundation will stop funding.
Funding rules for poor students to go to college/university
  • Children must have good academic performance, be eager to learn, and have passion and desire to go to school.
  • Parents must be supportive and help their children’s education.
  • The Foundation sponsors all college/university tuition fees in the form of an interest-free loan. The loan term is 15 years from the date the children graduate from university. After graduating from university, they are responsible for repaying the borrowed funds gradually. As the result, that money will continue to be used to support juniors with similar circumstances in the future. In addition, they must commit to being volunteers to continue to guide and help (as mentors) their juniors. This is the self-operating inheritance of the Foundation.
  • The Foundation supervises the monthly allowance; when children leave school or show signs of no longer wanting to study, or parents abuse the allowance to take care of other things, we will stop funding.

Meals for children

“Living in the city all these years, I cannot not imagine that poverty is still harshly present in such remote places. There are places where children do not have enough food to eat, their parents can only dig into the ground and in their garden for something edible to feed their children to school.”

“Please Give Children A Dream!”

Be Better Foundation implements the campaign to build a book library for poor students in remote areas with the hope that “Books will inspire them to have a dream”, “a dream that can change a life”, ”Changing one child’s life will change many generations in the future”
