  • Student at Saigon College.

Family situation

Phuong Thi comes from a large family, with her being the eldest sister of other three siblings. Two of her three siblings, unfortunately, have cognitive disabilities while the other is still in primary school. The family’s life has been increasingly challenging as her parents have struggled to secure stable employment. Despite their great efforts, her parents could only do menial jobs to meet core needs. Adding to the existing misery, all of their sources of income are unstable, which makes them struggle hard to make ends meet. Given this situation, Phuong Thi’s chance of attending university is becoming more and more increasingly out of reach.
