Background:
The two children are studying at Tan Thien Primary school and Secondary school. The father has suffered from leg muscle atrophy since childhood. He moves about with his two hands and uses a wheelchair. He sells lottery tickets. The mother has suffered from many serious diseases (such as epilepsy, heart disease, sepsis) and is currently hemiplegic. She lies in one place and is unable to work. The 80-year-old grandmother also sells lottery tickets to help with the two children’s education.
Sponsorship method:
- Monthly living expenses: VND 1,500,000 (for two children)
- Support for the annual tuition fee for the three children in case the family cannot afford the tuition fee.

“My shoes on the field – your shoes to school” is an association football tournament for companies and benefactors. It is held by the Be Better Foundation with the purpose of raising fund to buy shoes for poor students in remote areas.
