On November 13 and 14, 2015, Mr. Tran Van Tinh (Tony Tinh) organized a volunteer program called “Wish you go to school” in Binh Minh Town, Vinh Long Province.

Some places that have experienced the most difficult economic conditions in Vinh Long Province, such as the Cai Von Town, Thuan An, and Binh Dong communes, are witnessing a very high dropout rate. According to provincial statistics, 2.24 percent of secondary school students annually are forced to give up their educational aspirations by financial difficulties.

As a son of Binh Minh Town, more than anyone else, Mr. Tony Tinh Tran (Tony Tinh) understands the difficulties and hardships that students in his hometown have to face. In many previous volunteer programs, he and his family gave gifts to hundreds of families living in difficult circumstances and the elderly in Vinh Long Province.

Continuing his goal of building a series of voluntary activities, this year, Tony and his collective employees organized a charity program to support needy students in Binh Minh town. With the message “Wish you go to school” he strongly hope to motivate students to pursue their dreams of learning and becoming worthy individuals in the future.

At the event, Tony shared that he himself has encountered many difficulties in life. However, with self-motivation, he devoted his time and effort to education and changed his life. The story of his days of selling lottery tickets and making tofu to sustain his educational goals has inspired many students in Binh Minh Town of Vinh Long.
